The COVID19 Pandemic has taken the world by surprise and at current we can’t directly fight the virus but we can prevent the spread by following the safety protocols implemented. These include the wearing of face masks, social distancing, community quarantine and many more protocols. But even with these protocols in place there’s only so much we could do. Technology and knowledge are among the things we can use to make the necessary gatherings safer and give people the peace of mind they deserve. By limiting the virus count in the air through air purification and disinfection, we hope to reduce the number of potential transmissions and make gatherings in enclosed spaces safe again.

The space agency data used are the rainfall data collected by JAXA and mobility data on the possible number of direct contacts that a person may encounter. These datasets will help us regulate the needed amount of disinfection of the enclosed space. The more a person has direct contact with other, the more it’s possible that the person has been exposed to the virus. By using this data we can at least keep the surfaces disinfected and the air purified at the appropriate amount.

Mega2560 + WiFi R3 ATmega2560+ESP8266 32Mb memory USB-TTL CH340G

It is a customized version of the classic ARDUINO MEGA R3 board. Full integration of Atmel ATmega2560 microcontroller and ESP8266 Wi-Fi IC, with 32 Mb (megabits) of flash memory, and CH340G USB-TTL converter on a single board.

 

Adafruit CCS811 Air Quality Sensor Breakout

This sensor from AMS is a gas sensor that can detect a wide range of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and is intended for indoor air quality monitoring. When connected to your microcontroller (running our library code) it will return a Total Volatile Organic Compound (TVOC) reading and an equivalent carbon dioxide reading (eCO2) over I2C.

 

MLX90614 GY-906 MLX90614ESF Contactless Temperature Sensor Module

A Non-contact infrared thermometer for use with , or any microcontroller that can communicate with it through it's I2C interface.

 

KY-038 Microphone sound sensor module

The sensor has 3 main components on its circuit board. First, the sensor unit at the front of the module which measures the area physically and sends an analog signal to the second unit, the amplifier. The amplifier amplifies the signal, according to the resistant value of the potentiometer, and sends the signal to the analog output of the module.

The third component is a comparator which switches the digital out and the LED if the signal falls under a specific value.

You can control the sensitivity by adjusting the potentiometer.

20x4 LCD Display with I2C Adapter Module

This 20×4 LCD display with I2C adapter board is based on the common HD44780 parallel interface chipset. The LCD display includes anI2C adapter board based on PCF8574I2C chip, it converts I2C serial data to parallel data for the LCD display, thus, significantly reducing the number of I/O pins used on the micro-controller to send data to the LCD.
